KRINOS Natural Mineral Water sponsored the 14th Pink the City in Patras, providing free bottled water to participants and supporting a major celebration dedicated to prevention, awareness and solidarity.
On Sunday, 18 October 2026, Patras turned pink and welcomed more than 9,000 participants to the 14th Pink the City, one of the most significant breast cancer awareness events in Western Greece.
KRINOS Natural Mineral Water joined this great celebration of life, teaming up with the “Άλμα Ζωής” Association of Achaia and the local community in a collective effort highlighting the value of prevention and support for one another.
“Make the Checkmate Move” – Prevention is the best strategy
With “Make the Checkmate Move” as its central slogan, this year’s event used the symbolism of a chessboard to convey a meaningful message: in life, just as in chess, every move matters.
Thousands of people of all ages took part in the symbolic Pink Walk through central Patras, turning the city’s streets into a great chain of solidarity, optimism and hope.
Beyond its symbolic significance, Pink the City 2026 also highlighted the practical importance of prevention. As part of the Association’s accompanying activities, 194 free clinical breast examinations were carried out, helping more women access information and early diagnosis.
